The inpatient pharmacy at General Hospital has moved from the basement to second floor. The inpatient pharmacy supplies medications for all patients receiving care at the hospital. The newly renovated space provides a state-of-the-art cleanroom for sterile compounding, allowing intravenous medications to be prepared in the safest environment for patients. The compounding hoods for hazardous sterile compounding require a ceiling height that couldn’t be achieved in the previous location.
