LIVE Virtual Classes
These classes are held virtually and are scheduled for specific days and times. They are taught by a LIVE instructor with real-time Q&A sessions. Comprehensive two-week childbirth preparation class that includes information on signs of pre-term labor, stages of labor, breathing techniques, comfort measures, pain control options, medical interventions, postpartum care and introduction to breastfeeding. This class includes either a scheduled in-person hospital tour, or a virtual tour which takes you through the maternity care areas at CAMC's Women and Children's Hospital. Help your baby have the best start in life by breastfeeding. Our eClasses are pre-recorded, which means they can be completed at your convenience! Designed to fit into your schedule, they each provide a comprehensive, interactive way to learn about childbirth, newborn, breastfeeding, and infant and child safety. Each eClass includes engaging videos, 3D animations, learning activities, fun quizzes, helpful web links, downloadable PDFs and a Parent's Toolbox loaded with interactive tools.
